It is with sadness that we report that Judge James L. Kinghas upheld the Trademark Law and has ruled against the EternalGospel Church and in favor of the General Conference. He ruledthat the GC has exclusive rights to the good and services forthe name Seventh-day Adventist and SDA.

In his 18 page ruling the judge stated that in the end thiscase was about a trademark infringement and that the Eternal GospelChurch was "causing great damage" by using that name.

When the ruling is delivered in the near future, we will eitherupdate you or post the ruling on this website.

At this time, we are not aware of what the immediate ramificationswill be, but we are confident that this case will be appealedif the Lord wills.

We do want to say that the media attention to this trial hasbeen vast and it may be possible that the media will do for usfree what we have had to pay for in the ads that haveappeared in many national newspapers.

Your prayers, earnest fasting and support are needed now morethan ever to show our mightily Warrior, Jesus Christ, that weare indeed ready and willing to take His holy name to the highesttribunal, if need be. We shall remain His vessel regardless ofwhat He makes us drink.
